This page explains what personal data the website oradeltempo.it, ‘L’Ora del Tempo’, collects, why it collects it, how long it keeps it and what your rights are, as required by the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
Who is the data controller
The data controller is Claudio Di Lorenzo, a private collector. For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, you can write to claudio@oradeltempo.it.
What data we collect and why
Enquiries. When you use the contact form, on the Contact page, on the home page or on a watch’s page, you provide your first name, surname, email address, telephone number and the text of your enquiry. We use this data only to reply to you and, if you wish, to continue the conversation about the watch you are interested in. The legal basis is your own request: without this data we could not reply to you.
WhatsApp. If you choose to contact us using the WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place in the WhatsApp app: your number and your messages are also processed by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd (Meta group), in accordance with its privacy notice.
Browsing. As with any website, the server automatically records certain technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type), which is needed to run the website and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Cookies and statistics. Only if you give your consent through the banner do we use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are read, in aggregate form. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie icon at the bottom left. The banner records your choice (date, choice made, page and browser type) so that we can demonstrate how consent was given. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.
The website does not sell online, does not require registration and does not carry out profiling or advertising.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries: for as long as necessary to reply to you and to follow up any negotiation, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless required by law.
- Technical browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider, usually a few weeks.
- Cookie choice: 6 months, after which the banner asks you again.
- Google Analytics statistics: up to 14 months.
Who processes data on our behalf
Data is not sold or transferred to anyone. To run the website we rely on a number of providers, which process data on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Hostinger: website hosting and mailbox, with servers in the European Union.
- Elementor: record of the consents given through the cookie banner.
- Google: Google Analytics (only with your consent) and Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to send the website’s fonts to your browser.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union; in such cases the transfer takes place with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s adequacy decisions (for the United States, the Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to its processing or to receive it in a machine-readable format (Articles 15–22 of the GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you wish, without affecting what was done before.
To exercise your rights, write to claudio@oradeltempo.it: we will reply within one month. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Children
The website is not intended for children under the age of 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this page
If anything changes in the way we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
