A 1960s Zenith Stellina, reference 9807646. Like the other watches in the family, it takes its name from the five-pointed star logo and belongs to the house’s most classic production: an elegant watch, intended for everyday wear.
The model
The stainless steel case measures 33 mm, a typical size for men’s watches of the period and today also suited to slender wrists. The dial, of clean and essential design with applied indices, shows hours, minutes, seconds and date. The crystal is acrylic (plexiglass) and the strap is leather.
For the collector
The Stellina models document the Zenith of the 1960s well: sober, well-built watches that lend themselves as much to collecting as to everyday wear.
