HydroConquest is Longines’ sports diving line. This contemporary example is a chronograph with tachymeter scale and date, in stainless steel on a stainless steel bracelet: a diving watch of classic appearance, robust and suited to everyday use.
The model
The stainless steel case measures 42 mm, the typical size of a sports diver, well balanced on medium and larger wrists. The unidirectional rotating bezel is used to time a dive; luminous indices and hands ensure legibility in low light. The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire and the declared water resistance for the line is 300 metres (30 atm), with screw-down crown and caseback as is customary for the HydroConquest. The date is positioned at 3 o’clock.
The movement
The movement is mechanical with automatic winding, of Swiss manufacture, and drives the chronograph functions with their registers.
